In 2025, the A. Venkatesh Kumar Memorial Trust, led by Chairman Dr. S. Ayyadurai Pandian, founded the AVK Arts and Science Women's College. He is very interested in the fallback option to return at least some of the favors that society and the government have generously bestowed upon him. He had watched the youths from the rest of the country since he was a young boy. He has witnessed the young people of Sankarankovil, Nellai, and Tenkasi continuing to ascend to prominent positions in the country's social hierarchy. This feeling awakened his inner doer, and he devised a plan in his head to establish AVK International Residential School in 2011 for the benefit of Sankarankovil and the neighboring villages. The school education services further motivated him to apply his idealistic care to the daughters of the people living in and around Sankarankovil. As a result, they can also attend higher education through the AVK Arts and Science Women's College, which marks the next significant event in the AVK tradition.

As women's literacy rates are low in many nations, notably developing nations, this college seeks to offer high-quality higher education solely to women. In a country that had long ignored women's issues and education, the school's founder hoped to establish a center for women's education that would specifically address the needs and aspirations of women from this region and beyond. This results from social norms and cultural practices that continue to hinder women's access to education. Our culture still views women's roles as limited to taking care of the home and the family. It is commonly acknowledged that women's education plays a significant role in a nation's development, in empowering women to advance economically, socially, and culturally, and in increasing understanding of a range of societal concerns.
